Technical Sales Engineer (Civil Engineering)

About the role

The Civil Engineering Sales Engineer will drive business growth for Raybond Technical Limited by combining civil engineering expertise with sales and business development skills. You will identify client needs, develop technical solutions, prepare proposals, and manage relationships to achieve revenue targets.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities, build a robust sales pipeline, and convert leads, RFQs, and tenders into contracts.
• Review client drawings, specifications, BOQs and tender documents to design compliant technical and commercial proposals.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors and procurement teams, acting as the primary point of contact throughout the sales cycle.
• Conduct site visits, support project mobilisation, and identify variations or additional work opportunities during execution.
• Collaborate with internal teams—sales, engineering, operations, procurement and finance—to ensure accurate proposals and timely delivery.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience in technical sales, business development or civil engineering services.
• Professional registration with COREN and membership of NSE is advantageous.
• Proven B2B sales experience with construction companies, EPC contractors, oil & gas firms or government agencies.
• Ability to prepare cost estimates, material specifications and technical submissions.
