Technical Sales & Applications Engineer – Oilfield

About the role

The Technical Sales & Applications Engineer will support Quantum Dots Energy Limited’s growth by combining technical expertise with commercial support. The role covers product selection, technical proposals, customer presentations, sample evaluation, field trials and after‑sales troubleshooting.

Key responsibilities

• Provide timely, accurate, and technically sound responses to customer enquiries.
• Recommend products that meet customer requirements, compatibility and operating conditions.
• Coordinate samples and field trials, define success criteria and document results.
• Prepare complete technical submissions and deliver them within tender deadlines.
• Investigate and resolve product performance concerns in collaboration with manufacturers.
• Support sales teams to secure profitable orders and repeat business.
• Guide warehouse operations on product‑specific storage and handling requirements.
• Facilitate communication between manufacturers, sales, and customers to ensure smooth project execution.

Required profile

• Degree in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum five years’ experience in oilfield chemicals or production chemistry.
• Hands‑on experience in product selection, field trials and troubleshooting.
• Strong technical writing and communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently and travel to customer sites as needed.
