Technical Assistant - Concrete Technology & Manufacturing

About the role

This full-time, Lagos-based role supports concrete admixture technology, manufacturing and commercial development. You will work with technical teams, production staff and customers to support product performance, operational coordination and business growth. The position is mid-level, typically requiring 3-7 years of experience.

Key responsibilities

• Build practical knowledge of concrete admixtures, including PCE and SNF products, their applications and performance.
• Support concrete testing, product demonstrations, customer trials and technical documentation with technical personnel.
• Assist with customer visits, ready-mix customer engagement, technical enquiries and complaint follow-up.
• Support manufacturing and production, including coordination, documentation, reporting and follow-up on operational issues.
• Gather and analyse information on product performance, customer needs, production and commercial opportunities.
• Coordinate activities across technical, manufacturing, sales, logistics and other teams.
• Prepare reports, presentations and updates for management decisions and continuous improvement.
• Work in laboratories, factories, construction sites and customer locations while following health, safety, quality and operational requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, Concrete Technology, Manufacturing or a related field.
• Typically 3-7 years of progressive experience; strong candidates outside this range may be considered.
• Direct exposure to PCE/SNF admixtures, concrete testing, ready-mix customers or admixture production is strongly preferred.
• Willingness to travel within Nigeria.
