About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Teacher to join our school in Marina, Nigeria. This full‑time position involves delivering engaging lessons, monitoring student progress, and contributing to a positive learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons aligned with the school curriculum.
• Assess, record, and report students' academic performance.
• Develop lesson plans and teaching materials for diverse learning needs.
• Maintain discipline and foster an inclusive classroom atmosphere.
• Monitor attendance, behavior, and overall student well‑being.
• Identify students needing extra support and implement interventions.
• Prepare and administer classwork, assignments, tests, and examinations.
• Provide timely, constructive feedback to students and parents.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school activities.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about student progress.
• Supervise students during classroom activities, breaks, and school events.
• Maintain accurate academic records while ensuring confidentiality.
• Promote the school's values, policies, and code of conduct.
• Collaborate with colleagues to improve teaching practices and outcomes.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Education or a relevant subject area.
• Teaching certification (NCE) or applicable license.
• Previous teaching experience is an advantage.
