Tax Manager

About the role

Century Industrial Company is seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join its Finance department in Lagos. The role supports the head of department by delivering comprehensive tax services, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, and providing strategic tax planning for clients.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and file complex tax returns in a timely manner.
• Develop and implement innovative tax planning strategies.
• Ensure compliance with local tax laws, regulations, and accounting standards.
• Assist the Finance head with tax risk management and audit support.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• BSc/MSc/MBA in Finance, Accounting, Tax or a related field.
• Professional CPA certification is an advantage.
• Minimum experience in a Big 4 auditing firm.
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian tax legislation and accounting standards.
• Proactive, rigorous, and excellent communication skills.

Required skills

• CPA certification (preferred).
• Big 4 audit experience.
• In‑depth knowledge of local tax laws and regulations.
