About the role

We are looking for a skilled Tattoo Artist to consult with clients, create original designs, and execute precise tattoos across a range of styles. The role combines artistic talent with strict health and safety standards to ensure a professional, welcoming studio experience.

Key responsibilities

• Consult with clients to understand ideas, style preferences, placement, size, budget and expectations.
• Create original tattoo concepts, sketches, stencils and placement options tailored to each client.
• Execute clean, precise tattoos in linework, shading, lettering, colour and black‑and‑grey styles.
• Maintain strict infection‑prevention protocols, using sterile single‑use needles and proper waste disposal.
• Document consultations, consents, procedures and after‑care instructions accurately.
• Manage bookings, punctuality, touch‑up appointments and studio stock.

Required profile

• Proven professional tattooing experience with a strong, verifiable portfolio of healed and fresh work.
• Strong drawing, composition, colour, linework and stencil‑placement abilities.
• Training or certification in blood‑borne pathogen safety, infection control or first aid is strongly preferred.
• Ability to recognise situations that require postponing a procedure and refer clients for medical guidance.
• Excellent communication, patience, attention to detail and client‑service skills.
• Availability to work scheduled hours, including peak periods or weekends.
