Supervisor (Hospitality & Hotel)

About the role

The Supervisor will oversee daily operations of the assigned team within our hospitality division in Port Harcourt. This full‑time position ensures that staff adhere to company standards, deliver excellent customer service, and maintain a safe, clean environment. The role reports to management and contributes to achieving departmental targets.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of assigned staff, monitoring attendance, punctuality, grooming and discipline.
• Assign duties, track task completion, and ensure schedules are met.
• Provide coaching, guidance and performance feedback to improve team productivity.
• Enforce company policies, operational standards and health‑safety regulations.
• Conduct routine inspections of cleanliness, organization and safety.
• Prepare and submit performance, inventory and operational reports.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints and service issues professionally.
• Train and onboard new employees on procedures and expectations.
• Manage shift schedules, leave requests and duty rosters.
• Monitor use and accountability of equipment, supplies and inventory.
• Identify operational challenges and recommend practical solutions.

Required profile

• OND in Business Administration, Management, Human Resources or related field.
• Minimum 2 years experience in a supervisory, team‑lead or management role.
• Experience in hospitality, retail, real estate, manufacturing or similar industry is an advantage.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and flexible to work shifts, weekends or extended hours.
• Female candidates preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
