About the role
We are looking for a Supermarket Cashier to join Shop 88 Supermarket in Abeokuta, Ogun State. The role involves assisting customers, handling checkout operations, and maintaining store standards.
Key responsibilities
- Greet customers, answer inquiries, guide them to product locations, and assist with purchases.
- Stock shelves, monitor inventory levels, conduct stock counts, and ensure proper product display.
- Operate cash registers, process transactions, handle returns, and maintain accurate cash handling.
- Keep the store clean and organized, tidy shelves, clean floors, and ensure a safe shopping environment.
- Collaborate with sales and operations teams to ensure smooth store operations.
- Stay informed about store products to provide effective assistance and recommendations.
- Adhere to store policies, safety protocols, and industry regulations.
Required profile
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar role.
- Diploma from a reputable institution.
