STEM & Digital Skills Instructor for Teens (Part‑time)

About the role

Digital Skills Centre is looking for an enthusiastic STEM & Digital Skills Instructor to deliver hands‑on, project‑based learning to teenagers in Ikorodu. The role is part‑time and on‑site, focusing on game development, coding, data analysis and introductory AI.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, interactive lessons that combine theory with practical projects.
• Teach coding, game development, data analysis and AI concepts using age‑appropriate methods.
• Guide students through coding challenges, hands‑on exercises and project work.
• Create an inclusive, fun classroom environment that encourages curiosity.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with the curriculum team to maintain high‑quality programme delivery.

Required profile

• Beginner to intermediate proficiency in most of the listed subject areas.
• Passion for teaching and mentoring young people.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities.
• Capability to simplify technical concepts for teenagers.
• Good classroom management and organisational skills.
• Previous teaching or mentoring experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
