States Partnership Manager (Supply-Side)

About the role

New Incentives - All Babies Are Equal Initiative is an evidence-based organization working to raise childhood vaccination rates in Northern Nigeria through conditional cash transfers. It is seeking a full-time permanent States Partnership Manager (Supply-Side) to grow and implement its strategic interventions that improve vaccine supply and cold chain efficiency. The manager supervises 4-5 officer-level staff in the stakeholder relations unit and represents the organization at national and state level.

Key responsibilities

• Review and analyse supply-side data daily, implement established interventions to resolve supply issues and evaluate Supply-Side Officers
• Build new relationships with state and local government partners, national champions and LGAs, and present to partners regularly
• Represent the organization at SERICC and LERICC meetings and give daily and weekly updates on potential stockouts
• Supervise the stakeholder relations and supply-side unit, support recruitment, training and staff development, and generate weekly work plans for reportees
• Manage stakeholder relationships cost-effectively and align organizational goals with government priorities
• Lead the internal unit, plan internal meetings and events and coordinate across departments

Required profile

• MSc or PhD in public health or another health or social science discipline preferred
• At least 10 years of experience in a health non-profit or national health ministry, department or agency
• 10 years of experience in immunization programmes and in Northern Nigeria
• Currently living in an ABAE-operating state or willing to relocate
• Fluent English; Hausa conversation and reading is an advantage

Required skills

• Expert experience with the DHIS2 platform
• Strong stakeholder management, networking and communication skills
• Proficiency in Google Workspace, databases and ICT
