Solutions Consultant

About the role

The Solutions Consultant will work with developers, contractors, consultants and property owners to design and deliver integrated building solutions across energy, construction and after‑sales services.

Key responsibilities

• Develop target accounts among developers, contractors, consultants, property owners, corporates and industrial clients.
• Lead discovery meetings and site visits, diagnose operational needs, technical constraints, budgets and decision criteria.
• Translate customer requirements into product, energy system, construction service and after‑sales support options.
• Own opportunities from initial contact through proposal, award, installation, acceptance and close‑out.
• Maintain accurate CRM records of needs, scope, value, milestones and risks.
• Interpret drawings, BOQs and product data to prepare scopes, bills of materials, quotations and tenders.
• Coordinate with OEMs, suppliers and technical specialists to confirm compatibility and availability.
• Present demonstrations, answer technical and commercial questions and negotiate within approved limits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic, Mechanical or Civil Engineering, Building Services, Energy, Construction Technology, Quantity Surveying or a related technical discipline.
• At least 2 years of experience in B2B solution sales, specification sales or customer‑facing project delivery.
• Proven ability to read and interpret drawings, BOQs and product datasheets and turn them into proposals.
• Experience conducting site visits, coordinating technicians/installers and resolving delivery issues.
• Strong CRM and pipeline management with solid follow‑through.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM systems.
• Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and BOQs.
• Technical proposal and quotation preparation.
