Social Media Manager Intern

About the role

The Social Media Manager Intern will work full‑time on‑site in Festac, Lagos, supporting The Cave Africa’s brand presence across social platforms. The role involves creating, publishing and optimizing content that reflects the company’s voice and community focus.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and schedule posts for multiple social media channels.
• Design basic visual assets or coordinate with designers using Canva.
• Monitor engagement, respond to comments and messages, and track performance metrics.
• Assist in planning and executing social media campaigns that promote events and the co‑working experience.
• Report insights and recommend adjustments to improve reach and impact.

Required profile

• Strong interest in social media marketing and community engagement.
• Outgoing personality with a passion for networking and remote‑work culture.
• Ability to work reliably in an on‑site environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Commitment to a minimum three‑month internship.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Canva (at least 6/10).
• Experience or interest in Social Media Optimization (SMO).
• Basic knowledge of analytics tools and platform insights.
