Social Media Manager – Digital Marketing

About the role

Castel Resources is seeking a proactive Social Media Manager to shape its online presence across key platforms. Based in Port Harcourt, you will drive content strategy, engage audiences, and support the company’s marketing objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute social media strategies that align with business goals.
• Create, schedule, and publish compelling posts on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn and X (Twitter).
• Maintain content calendars, run campaigns and promotional activities.
• Monitor accounts, respond promptly to comments, messages and inquiries.
• Track performance metrics, generate regular reports and optimise based on insights.
• Collaborate with designers, videographers and the broader marketing team to produce high‑quality visual and video assets.
• Identify emerging trends and propose innovative content ideas.
• Manage paid social campaigns to boost reach, engagement and conversions.

Required profile

• Minimum HND in Marketing, Mass Communication, Communications or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience managing social media for a brand or business.
• Strong copywriting, storytelling and communication abilities.
• Ability to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Canva, Meta Business Suite and CapCut.
• Experience using social media analytics tools for reporting and optimisation.
• Knowledge of social media advertising and audience targeting.
