About the role
We are seeking a reliable Slicer to join our bakery team at Vgn Network in Lagos. The role involves slicing bread and other bakery products to precise specifications while maintaining high standards of quality and hygiene.
Key responsibilities
- Slice bread and other bakery products according to specification.
- Ensure uniform thickness and neat presentation of sliced items.
- Operate slicing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain slicing equipment in good working order.
- Minimize product wastage while upholding quality standards.
- Keep the work area and equipment clean and hygienic.
- Collaborate with the production team to achieve daily targets.
Required profile
- 1–2 years of experience as a slicer in a bakery or similar setting.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Good physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods.
- Neat, honest, and reliable; proximity to Ago Palace preferred.
Required skills
- Operating slicing machines.
- Maintaining slicing equipment.
