Site Engineer

About the role

Kenex Konsults International is seeking a motivated Site Engineer to join its construction team in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. You will be responsible for supervising daily site activities, ensuring work aligns with approved drawings and specifications, and supporting project delivery from start to finish.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily construction activities, coordinate workers, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Monitor site operations, conduct inspections, and resolve technical issues promptly.
• Assist in planning, scheduling and execution of projects, ensuring timely availability of materials, equipment and manpower.
• Implement quality assurance and control procedures, verify compliance with engineering standards, building regulations and safety requirements.
• Enforce health, safety and environmental policies, conduct safety inspections and promote a safe work culture.
• Maintain accurate site records, prepare progress reports and document variations or changes.
• Support cost and resource management, monitor material usage and assist with procurement activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's Degree or HND in Civil Engineering, Building Technology, Construction Engineering or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in construction site management or engineering supervision.
• Professional certification is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of construction drawings, specifications and engineering standards.
