Senior Technical Officer, Strategic Information

About the role

The Senior Technical Officer, Strategic Information will support the EpiC project’s Global Health Security, Maternal‑Newborn‑Child Health and Nutrition components across Nigeria. Reporting to the Associate Director, you will ensure that routine and program data systems are robust, high‑quality and used effectively for decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical and operational support for the design, strengthening and use of routine health information systems.
• Monitor data quality, ensure compliance with national and donor requirements, and implement quality‑assurance processes.
• Translate data into actionable insights for program performance improvement.
• Support capacity‑building for health‑worker data management at national and state levels.
• Collaborate with the Federal Ministry of Health and partners on oxygen ecosystem and other health‑security initiatives.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in strategic information, health data systems or monitoring & evaluation within public‑health programs.
• Demonstrated ability to work with national ministries, donors and multi‑disciplinary teams.
• Strong analytical mindset and experience in data‑driven decision‑making.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
