Senior Student Recruitment Counsellor – International Education

About the role

AECC is seeking a Senior Student Recruitment Counsellor to join its growing team in Abuja. The role involves guiding prospective students through the entire study‑abroad application journey for destinations such as the UK, Ireland, Canada, USA, Australia and New Zealand.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome walk‑in students, answer queries about overseas study options and provide end‑to‑end consultancy.
• Assess each student’s eligibility and recommend the most suitable country, course and institution.
• Deliver accurate information on admission requirements, visa documentation and other mandatory procedures.
• Manage the full admission cycle – from case filing with universities, regular communication with students, to visa application submission and follow‑up.
• Prepare and present MIS reports for management and ensure timely closure of prospective cases.

Required profile

• 3–5 years experience in the international education sector.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any discipline.
• Customer‑centric attitude with the ability to work in a cross‑cultural environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms.
