About the role
The Senior Programme Associate (Data) will support UNICEF Nigeria’s Health Section in strengthening the Humanitarian Cash Operations and Programme Ecosystem (HOPE) Management Information System. Working closely with the Budget Specialist, you will ensure accurate and timely cash transfers to beneficiaries across polio, supplementary immunisation activities and routine immunisation programmes.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the direct transfer of cash to beneficiaries through the HOPE MIS.
- Collect, validate, monitor and report beneficiary information on the HOPE platform.
- Process, reconcile and ensure the accuracy of beneficiary data and payments in line with UNICEF humanitarian cash transfer policies.
- Generate regular data quality and payment reports for internal and partner use.
- Coordinate with national, state and ward level government officials and frontline workers to facilitate smooth programme implementation.
Required profile
- Experience in handling beneficiary data and cash transfer processes within humanitarian programmes.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure data accuracy and compliance with UNICEF policies.
- Ability to work collaboratively with budget specialists, government partners and field staff.
