Senior Programme Associate (Data) – Abuja

About the role

The Senior Programme Associate (Data) will support UNICEF Nigeria’s Health Section in managing the HOPE Humanitarian Cash Transfer Management Information System. Working closely with the Budget Specialist, the role ensures accurate collection, processing and reporting of beneficiary data for cash transfer programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage direct cash transfers to beneficiaries through the HOPE MIS.
• Collect, validate, and monitor beneficiary information on the platform.
• Generate regular reports on payments, data quality and programme performance.
• Coordinate with government partners at national, state and ward levels to ensure alignment with UNICEF policies.
• Support timely reconciliation of payments and resolve data discrepancies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in data management and humanitarian cash transfer programmes.
• Strong understanding of MIS processes and beneficiary data workflows.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multi‑sectoral teams and government stakeholders.
• Attention to detail and commitment to data integrity and transparency.
