Senior Product Designer - Design System

About the role

Moniepoint Inc. is seeking a Senior Product Designer who will own and evolve its design system across web and mobile platforms. You will create a scalable UI ecosystem that supports multiple products, teams, and technologies while ensuring visual consistency and accessibility.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain a robust component library (buttons, inputs, cards, navigation, forms, tables, etc.) that scales across products.
• Define interaction and motion guidelines, including states such as hover, focus, disabled, loading, and mobile behaviors.
• Manage design tokens (colours, spacing, typography, shadows) to keep design and code in sync.
• Organize complex Figma libraries with variants, properties, and variables to enable rapid design delivery.
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams on Web (React), Flutter, Android, and iOS to translate designs into clean, reusable, and accessible production code.
• Produce comprehensive documentation and usage guidelines for designers and developers.

Required profile

• Proven track record of building and scaling production‑ready design systems.
• Deep understanding of cross‑platform constraints for Web, iOS, and Android.
• Systems‑thinking mindset demonstrated through a portfolio showing impact on multiple products.
• Familiarity with how developers inspect, build, and consume components in code repositories.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with Figma libraries, auto‑layout, components, variants, and variables.
• Strong knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design principles.
• Technical literacy in component‑driven frameworks such as React and Flutter, and the Atomic Design methodology.
• Excellent written and presentation skills for creating clear documentation and executive updates.
