Senior Product Designer - Design System

About the role

Moniepoint is seeking a Senior Product Designer focused on Design Systems to shape a scalable UI ecosystem across multiple products and platforms. You will own component libraries, interaction models, and ensure visual consistency while bridging design and engineering.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain high standards for layout, typography, colour, spacing, and visual hierarchy across reusable UI elements.
• Design, build, and evolve robust component libraries (buttons, inputs, cards, navigation, forms, tables, etc.) that scale across products.
• Define interactive behaviours and motion states (hover, focus, disabled, loading, mobile) to create intuitive experiences.
• Structure and manage design tokens (colours, spacing, typography, shadows) to align design tools with production code.
• Organise complex variants and properties in Figma libraries to enable rapid, accurate design work.
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams on Web, React, Flutter, Android, and iOS/Native constraints.
• Create comprehensive usage guidelines and governance documentation for the design system.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing at a system level for multi‑product environments.
• Strong eye for visual detail and consistency.
• Ability to translate design concepts into clean, reusable, and accessible code.
• Excellent communication skills to work with cross‑functional teams.
