Senior Fullstack Software Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a senior full‑stack engineer to take ownership of our KonectX platform, a React (Vite) front‑end, Node.js/Express API and MongoDB backend. You will bring the product to a stable, documented and fully tested state while driving new features for operators and end‑users.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and complete the existing codebase, ensuring documentation and test coverage.
• Build the operator dashboard with hotspot management, voucher issuance, session monitoring and earnings visibility.
• Develop and operate the revenue settlement engine, handling multi‑party splits, credit maturation, payout requests and an auditable ledger.
• Integrate payment rails for Nigeria and Francophone markets, including card, bank transfer and mobile‑money solutions.
• Implement captive‑portal and router‑side integration for reliable session recording.
• Maintain the Web3 layer (KXT token balance, distribution jobs, wallet views on Celo).
• Own deployment and uptime on VPS infrastructure (nginx, PM2, Cloudflare, backups, monitoring, incident response).
• Write and keep engineering documentation up‑to‑date in Confluence.
• Collaborate with the CISO to resolve security items and ensure NDPA 2023 compliance.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience building production web applications, with at least 2 years of full‑stack ownership.
• Strong JavaScript/TypeScript skills and deep practical experience with Node.js, Express and React (hooks, state management, Vite).
• Solid MongoDB expertise (schema design, indexing, aggregation) and ability to choose the right data store.
• Hands‑on experience deploying and operating Linux servers, nginx, TLS, DNS and reverse proxies.
• Proven track record writing secure code that handles monetary transactions.
• Clear written English and disciplined Git, code‑review and testing practices.
