Senior Fluids Supervisor

About the role

The Senior Fluids Supervisor will lead drilling fluids, cementing and waste‑management operations for drilling, completion and work‑over activities. The role ensures compliance with safety, environmental and industry codes while optimizing costs and lead times.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all fluids‑related operations, including drilling fluids engineering, cementing and waste management on‑site.
• Coordinate with rig contractors to ensure equipment and services meet operational requirements.
• Execute services according to the fluids (mud and cement) programs prepared by the Onshore Fluids Superintendent.
• Monitor contractor performance to ensure adherence to company standards and rules.
• Prepare accurate rig‑site reports in a timely manner.
• Act as the primary contact for fluid‑related activities at the rig site, supporting the company representative.
• Supervise critical operations such as cementing, mud displacements, completions and specialized testing.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in drilling fluids, cementing or waste‑management within the oil and gas sector.
• Proven ability to manage contractor relationships and ensure compliance with HSE and environmental regulations.
• Strong analytical skills for cost optimisation and lead‑time reduction.
