Senior Associate, Investor Relations (Operator Finance)

About the role

The Senior Associate, Investor Relations (Operator Finance) will own the full operator financing cycle, from structuring credit to smallholder operators through to portfolio reporting and investor relationship management. In the first 18 months you will build a clean, investor‑ready view of the portfolio, support major financing facilities, and establish a reliable reporting cadence.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end operator financing: credit structuring, loan disbursement, collections tracking, repayment analysis, and portfolio health reporting.
• Prepare and maintain fiscal records, investment schedules, consolidated forecasts, and long‑range financial plans with accuracy.
• Support fundraising efforts by building data rooms, responding to due‑diligence requests, and preparing investor‑facing financial models and presentation decks.
• Develop and maintain a regular investor reporting cadence that showcases deployment metrics, repayment performance, and risk indicators.

Required profile

• 7–10 years of experience at the intersection of credit, capital, and investor relations, preferably within the Nigerian banking or DFI ecosystem.
• Deep understanding of SME financing, DFI expectations, and institutional investor trust‑building.
• Ability to translate complex portfolio data into clear investor narratives and to mentor others while documenting processes.
• Strong ownership mindset, comfort with ambiguity, and a focus on real‑world impact of financial metrics.
