About the role
A full-time Senior Accountant position in Lagos, advertised by Jobberman, with a stated 75% upfront payment. The role covers bank reconciliation, ledger review, month-end journal entries and statutory deductions, using Odoo.
Key responsibilities
- Post other outflows on Odoo
- Perform bank reconciliation
- Review the filing system
- Review customer ledgers and reconcile them
- Post month-end journals, including prepayments where required
- Review staff pension, PAYE and schedule
- Prepare and remit statutory deductions (WHT, NSIFT, ITF)
- Match POs, GRNs and waybills with suppliers
- Create bills on Odoo, validate invoices and match payments
Required profile
- HND in accounting/accountancy from a reputable institution
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience
- Experience in the manufacturing or trading sector
- ICAN certified
Required skills
- Experience with accounting and ERP systems, preferably Odoo
What we offer
- Monthly net compensation of N500,000 to N800,000
