About the role

FTB-TALENTS is seeking an experienced, dynamic School Principal to lead a reputable British‑Curriculum school in Imo State, Nigeria. The successful candidate will drive academic excellence, oversee daily operations, and foster a safe, inclusive learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for teaching and learning, ensuring effective implementation of the British Curriculum.
• Monitor lesson delivery, assessments, student performance and set academic targets.
• Lead, mentor and evaluate teaching and non‑teaching staff; coordinate professional development.
• Oversee day‑to‑day school administration, budgeting, resource allocation and facilities management.
• Ensure compliance with educational regulations, safeguarding policies and child‑protection standards.
• Build strong relationships with parents, guardians and external stakeholders; handle concerns promptly.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years (96 months) of senior leadership experience in a British‑Curriculum school.
• Proven ability to improve student achievement and manage school operations.
• Strong understanding of curriculum design, assessment practices and educational standards.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to engage staff, students, parents and community partners.
