Sales Representative

Key responsibilities

• Attend to customers professionally via phone, email, social media and in‑person, responding promptly to enquiries, complaints and requests.
• Identify customer needs, recommend suitable products or services and actively promote offerings to convert prospects into paying customers.
• Handle the complete sales process from prospecting and presenting to closing sales and post‑purchase follow‑up.
• Maintain accurate records of interactions, orders and sales activities and coordinate orders with inventory and other departments.
• Monitor product availability, assist with inventory management and process customer orders ensuring correct quantities.
• Resolve customer complaints professionally and meet assigned sales targets to contribute to departmental revenue goals.
• Prepare basic sales and customer service reports and use CRM tools, spreadsheets and other software to manage information.

Required profile

• Minimum OND in Business Administration, Marketing, Mass Communication or a related field.
• 1–3 years experience in customer service, sales, retail, business development or a similar role.
• Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Target‑driven, proactive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Experience with CRM systems.
• Familiarity with POS and inventory management software.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Basic computer skills including email and spreadsheet applications.
