Sales Officer

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Sales Officer to drive revenue growth for Silk Corporate Services Limited. You will identify new business opportunities, build lasting client relationships, and support the company’s position in the manufacturing and oil‑and‑gas sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, email outreach, networking and referrals.
• Present product features and benefits, discuss pricing and contract terms, and prepare quotes and proposals.
• Achieve daily, weekly and monthly sales targets.
• Maintain and nurture relationships with existing and potential customers, handling inquiries and escalating issues as needed.
• Conduct courtesy calls to ensure satisfaction, encourage repeat business and generate referrals.
• Research market trends and competitor offerings, providing feedback to management.
• Prepare sales reports, forecasts and expense records for senior management.
• Track activities, manage appointments and log interactions using CRM tools.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in chemical manufacturing or oil & gas services.
• Proven ability to identify, pursue and close business opportunities.
• Strong communication, negotiation and client relationship skills.
• Commercial awareness with knowledge of contracts and pricing.
• Experience working across departments in a structured business environment.
• Familiarity with oil and gas industry standards or supply chain is an advantage.
