About the role
We are looking for a Sales Manager to develop and implement effective sales strategies, lead and motivate our sales team, and drive growth for our micro‑finance banking operations in Port Harcourt.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with business goals.
- Lead, supervise, and motivate the sales team, setting targets and monitoring performance.
- Identify new business opportunities and potential clients.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities and prepare regular performance reports.
- Support the team in converting leads and closing sales.
- Conduct sales meetings, training sessions and performance reviews.
Required profile
- HND or equivalent qualification in Business, Marketing, Sales or a related field.
- Proven experience in sales management or a similar leadership role (minimum 2 years).
- Experience in a micro‑finance bank is an advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets and strong analytical/problem‑solving abilities.
