Sales Executive – Business Development in Energy

About the role

The Sales Executive will drive business development and sales of AGO and PMS products across Lagos and surrounding states. You will identify new corporate clients, onboard fuel stations and maintain strong relationships with existing bulk buyers to achieve volume and revenue targets.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and acquire new corporate accounts, manufacturers, construction firms, hotels, telcos and fuel stations needing AGO and PMS.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, credit limits and supply agreements in line with company policy.
• Monitor market trends, regulatory updates and competitor activity to provide informed advice to clients.
• Coordinate with logistics, loading and finance teams to ensure timely delivery and accurate documentation.
• Prepare daily sales, client visit and market intelligence reports.
• Handle client inquiries, complaints and after‑sales follow‑up to ensure high satisfaction.

Required profile

• Minimum HND in Marketing, Business Administration, Engineering or related field.
• 2‑4 years of proven sales experience in petroleum downstream, oil & gas, FMCG or B2B sales.
• Existing relationships with fuel stations, transporters or corporate procurement teams are a plus.
• Strong negotiation, communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Target‑driven, self‑motivated and resilient.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel to depots and client sites.
