Risk Management & Compliance Intern

About the role

This entry-level internship supports the organization's security framework by systematically identifying, evaluating and managing potential risks. It ensures strict adherence to internal policies, external regulations and industry standards, and helps build a culture of compliance through accurate record keeping.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate and analyze potential organizational risks to determine their impact and likelihood.
• Ensure strict adherence to established policies, legal regulations and compliance mandates.
• Create, update and archive documentation on risk assessments and compliance activities.
• Carry out regular compliance audits and address identified gaps in processes.
• Assist in strengthening internal control frameworks and implementing risk-mitigation strategies.
• Compile and present reports on risk status and compliance performance to stakeholders.
• Promote awareness of risk and compliance obligations across the company.

Required profile

• Proven ability to identify and assess organizational risks.
• Strong knowledge of relevant policies, regulations and compliance requirements.
• Experience developing and maintaining accurate risk and compliance records.
• Ability to support internal controls and risk mitigation, and to prepare clear risk and compliance reports.
