Risk and Compliance Officer

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented risk professional to join Moment’s Risk & Compliance team. The role blends Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) with hands‑on compliance duties, helping to build a unified view of group‑wide risk and embed a proactive risk culture as the business scales.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance Moment’s ERM framework, policies, risk taxonomy and risk register across all business units.
• Conduct periodic risk identification cycles, evaluate likelihood, impact, control effectiveness and residual risk ratings.
• Monitor risk appetite thresholds, flag breaches and emerging risks to compliance leadership.
• Produce decision‑ready risk dashboards and reporting papers for senior leadership.
• Coordinate risk reviews for new products, market expansions and partnerships before launch.
• Review daily transaction monitoring alerts and escalate suspicious activity.
• Perform operational compliance tasks such as merchant onboarding reviews.
• Challenge control owners on risk gaps and drive remediation of audit and regulatory findings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Law or related field.
• 2–5 years of hands‑on risk management, compliance, audit or control experience in banking, payments, fintech or a regulated financial institution.
• Relevant risk management certification (e.g., CAMS, CRCM, ICA, FRM) or active study towards one.
• Working knowledge of ERM frameworks such as COSO ERM and ISO 31000.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and reporting.
• Familiarity with COSO ERM and ISO 31000 frameworks.
