Regional Security Lead (North West)

About the role

The Regional Security Lead ensures Moniepoint’s mission never stops by safeguarding physical spaces and enabling teams to work without worry. You will lead regional security operations, manage on‑ground teams and proactively identify risks to provide stability for financial happiness.

Key responsibilities

• Lead implementation of security policies that protect people, offices and equipment across the region.
• Conduct regular security assessments, identify vulnerabilities and design strategies to reduce risk.
• Supervise and mentor private security guards and armed police personnel, ensuring high performance and respect.
• Act as primary liaison with law‑enforcement and emergency services, maintaining active communication during incidents.
• Lead response to security breaches and accidents, producing factual reports for continuous improvement.
• Design and deliver training programmes for security staff and employees on life‑saving protocols.
• Monitor and upgrade security technology such as CCTV, access‑control and alarm systems to keep operations resilient.
• Provide expert guidance on asset recovery and fraud investigations when required.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years leading a security team in a guard services/physical security company or as a supervisor in the military, police or paramilitary.
• Bachelor’s degree in Criminology, Psychology, Criminal Justice or a related field.
• Recognised security certification (e.g., CPP, PSP, CPO) and a clean criminal record.
• Fluent in the local dialects of the major tribes in the assigned region.
• Experience with automated security systems such as CCTV, burglary alarm and access‑control systems.
