Regional Sales Manager

About the role

The Regional Sales Manager will lead field‑based sales activities across Kano and the neighbouring states of Jigawa, Bauchi and Gombe. This senior position focuses on expanding distribution, building high‑performing teams and driving revenue growth in the healthcare sector.

Key responsibilities

• Visit markets, distributors and outlets regularly; manage territory planning and daily performance tracking.
• Increase numeric and weighted distribution, open new outlets and improve product visibility.
• Recruit, coach, performance‑manage and retain territory sales officers and merchandisers.
• Monitor stock levels, credit exposure, secondary sales and route‑to‑market efficiency.
• Prepare accurate sales forecasts, budgets and performance reports for senior management.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, credit control guidelines and reporting timelines.

Required profile

• Minimum bachelor’s degree.
• At least 5 years of field sales/distribution experience with a proven record of exceeding targets.
• Deep knowledge of pharmaceutical route‑to‑market and distributor management in Northern Nigeria.
• Based in Kano with willingness to travel extensively across the assigned states.
• Strong network among hospitals and pharma distributors; fluency in Hausa is strongly preferred.
