Recruitment Officer – Full‑time HR Role

About the role

Kenex Konsults International is seeking a proactive Recruitment Officer to manage the end‑to‑end hiring process for its operations in Port Harcourt and the wider Rivers State region. You will act as the primary liaison between candidates, hiring managers and clients, ensuring a smooth and compliant recruitment experience.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment cycle from vacancy sourcing to candidate placement.
• Source qualified candidates via job boards, social media, professional networks, referrals and recruitment databases.
• Screen CVs, conduct phone, virtual and in‑person interviews, and assess candidates.
• Coordinate interview schedules and maintain an up‑to‑date talent pool.
• Prepare and post accurate job advertisements on relevant platforms.
• Communicate regularly with candidates, providing updates throughout the process.
• Conduct reference and background checks where required.
• Prepare candidate profiles and recruitment reports for hiring managers.
• Track recruitment metrics and ensure compliance with company policies and employment regulations.
• Participate in career fairs, recruitment events and employer branding activities.
• Assist with onboarding activities for successful hires.

Required profile

• Minimum HND in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Industrial Relations or a related field.
• At least 12 months of experience in recruitment, talent acquisition or a similar HR role.
• Strong knowledge of sourcing, screening, interviewing and selection processes.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally and work under pressure to meet targets.
