Radiographer – Diagnostic Imaging

About the role

We are looking for a qualified Radiographer to join our diagnostic team in Port Harcourt. You will work closely with patients and medical staff to produce high‑quality medical images that support accurate diagnosis and treatment.

Key responsibilities

• Greet patients, verify identity and explain procedures to reduce anxiety.
• Position patients correctly and ensure removal of metal objects before scanning.
• Operate X‑ray, MRI, CT and ultrasound equipment, adjusting settings for optimal image quality.
• Maintain equipment cleanliness, perform routine checks and ensure proper functioning.
• Apply radiation shields, monitor and record patient radiation dose.
• Assist therapeutic teams with radiation therapy for cancer patients.
• Provide live imaging support to surgeons in the operating room.

Required profile

• BSc or equivalent licence in Radiography or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar diagnostic imaging role.
