Quality Auditor & Vendor Expeditor

About the role

We are looking for a Quality Auditor and Vendor Expeditor to join our Port Harcourt team. The role provides independent, risk‑based quality audits and proactive vendor expediting to ensure suppliers meet contractual quality requirements and project schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Develop audit and expediting plans based on supplier criticality, manufacturing complexity and quality risk.
• Review purchase orders, vendor quality plans, ITPs, suborders and inspection assignments.
• Conduct QMS, process, product and project‑specific audits, record objective evidence and classify findings.
• Monitor engineering submissions, material procurement, fabrication, testing, preservation, packing and shipping readiness.
• Identify schedule and quality risks early, validate recovery plans and escalate issues such as capacity constraints or unresolved NCRs.
• Facilitate root‑cause analysis and track supplier corrective actions to closure.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or HND in Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Manufacturing or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in quality auditing, supplier quality, vendor inspection or expediting.
• Strong knowledge of vendor documentation, inspection release, FAT, preservation, packing, logistics and data‑book requirements.
• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification strongly preferred; relevant technical inspection certifications (CSWIP, API, ASNT/ISO 9712, AMPP/NACE) advantageous.
