Quality Assurance Engineer (Remote – Lagos)

About the role

Moniepoint is looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join its remote team based in Lagos. You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of our fintech products before they reach customers. The role works closely with developers, product managers and architects to embed quality throughout the development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and execute test plans and test cases derived from product requirements.
• Perform functional, regression, exploratory and performance testing on new and existing features.
• Log, track and verify resolution of defects using the company’s bug‑tracking system.
• Collaborate with developers and architects to define acceptance criteria and quality standards.
• Maintain documentation of test results, metrics and quality assurance reports.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of proven experience as a Quality Assurance Analyst or Engineer.
• BSc in Computer Science or a related field.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Experience working in a test‑driven development environment.
• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
