Project Operations Manager – British K‑12 School Launch

About the role

Rendeavour is seeking a dynamic Project Operations Manager to lead the launch of a premium British K‑12 day/boarding school in Alaro City, Lagos, scheduled for September 2027. The role will support the Director of Education in overseeing project planning, coordination, compliance, staffing and operational set‑up.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage the full project plan, including timelines, milestones, budgets and deliverables for the school opening.
• Coordinate internal teams and external stakeholders, ensuring seamless execution of all project activities.
• Partner with legal and education authorities to secure licensing, accreditation and regulatory approvals.
• Lead recruitment, onboarding and training of school staff in collaboration with HR and school leadership.
• Establish operational systems such as admissions, finance, IT and transportation, and procure necessary supplies and equipment.
• Monitor project budget, track expenditures, identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.

Required profile

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree; Business Administration or HR Management advantageous.
• 5–7 years of relevant experience in project or operations management, preferably within education or large‑scale development projects.
• Proven ability to manage multiple work streams, stakeholders and complex timelines.
• Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills.
