Project Officer

About the role

The Project Officer will define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines and resource requirements to align with business and client needs. You will lead cross‑functional teams, manage stakeholder relationships and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage detailed project plans, budgets, schedules and resource allocations.
• Lead developers, engineers, QA specialists, business analysts and vendors throughout the project lifecycle.
• Maintain regular communication with clients and stakeholders, providing updates and gathering feedback.
• Identify, assess and mitigate project risks, issues, dependencies and scope changes.
• Monitor progress, costs and performance to ensure delivery against agreed scope, budget, quality and timelines.
• Coordinate project closure, client handover, post‑project reviews and lessons‑learned implementation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Management or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience managing IT or business technology projects.
• Proven track record delivering complex software development, system integration or infrastructure projects.
• Experience managing client relationships and working with distributed teams.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as sprint planning, stand‑ups and retrospectives.
