Project Manager – Land Reclamation/Dredging

About the role

The Project Manager (Land Reclamation/Dredging) will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of large‑scale land reclamation and dredging works on site in Lagos, Nigeria. This full‑time position is responsible for coordinating all project aspects, ensuring safety, environmental compliance, and timely completion.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
• Coordinate contractors, suppliers, and internal teams, both expatriate and local.
• Supervise site activities, conduct inspections, and resolve issues to keep work on track.
• Manage logistics for materials and equipment, expediting critical orders.
• Prepare regular progress reports and communicate updates to stakeholders.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience managing land reclamation or dredging projects.
• Proven ability to achieve production targets and oversee site operations.
• Experience working on‑site in Nigeria or similar environments.
• Relevant academic background (Civil Engineering, Marine Engineering, Construction Management or related).

Required skills

• Expediting – managing timely delivery of materials, equipment, and services.
• Inspection – conducting site inspections, quality checks, and ensuring safety/environmental compliance.
• Logistics Management – planning transport, storage, and delivery of project assets.
• Project planning tools – proficiency in scheduling, documentation, and reporting.
• Operation of Cutter Suction Dredgers (preferred).
