Project Manager – Furniture Manufacturing

About the role

Urban Crescent Furniture Ltd is seeking a highly organised Project Manager to oversee the planning, coordination and delivery of furniture manufacturing orders. The role ensures each customer order is scheduled, tracked and delivered on time while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain daily, weekly and monthly production schedules based on confirmed orders and delivery timelines.
• Track all active projects from production start through quality approval and hand‑over for delivery.
• Establish clear milestones and deadlines for each project and monitor performance against them.
• Prioritise projects according to delivery commitments, resource availability and business priorities.
• Work closely with the Production Manager to ensure execution aligns with agreed production plans.
• Identify delays, bottlenecks, dependencies and risks early and escalate them promptly.
• Coordinate with Procurement to verify material readiness against approved Bills of Materials.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, trackers and status reports using the company’s project management software.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Project Management, Operations Management, Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in project management, production planning or operations within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in furniture manufacturing, interior fit‑out, construction or joinery is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and organisational abilities.
• Ability to manage and track multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and cross‑functional coordination skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with project management software.
