Project Manager – Construction

About the role

The Company is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead civil and structural construction activities on multiple sites in Abuja. You will coordinate contractors, ensure compliance with Nigerian building codes, and deliver projects on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily civil and structural construction activities across active sites.
• Coordinate main contractors, structural engineers, MEP technicians, site supervisors, and artisans.
• Conduct technical inspections of concrete, rebar, masonry and workmanship to meet safety standards.
• Develop and maintain master project schedules (Gantt charts) and track milestones.
• Partner with Quantity Surveyors to control material usage and prevent cost overruns.
• Secure local building approvals and enforce HSE protocols on site.
• Prepare weekly structural progress reports, risk logs, and milestone assessments for senior management.

Required profile

• Minimum HND in Civil Engineering, Building Technology or Construction Management.
• At least 5 years of hands‑on structural construction experience, with 3 years as a Project Manager on multi‑unit residential or commercial developments in Nigeria.
• Full registration with COREN, CORBON, or membership in NIOB/NSE.
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian building codes, soil and material testing, and site team leadership.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Project or Primavera P6 for schedule management.
• Experience using AutoCAD or Revit for design and drawing review.
