Project Engineer, Civil/Structure

About the role

The Company is seeking a Project Engineer to lead civil and structural works on its construction projects in Lagos. You will coordinate site activities, supervise contractors and ensure compliance with design and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and monitor project execution plans, schedules and resource requirements for civil/structural works.
• Coordinate daily site activities, supervise contractors and subcontractors, and verify setting‑out, dimensions and alignment.
• Review civil and structural drawings, specifications and design calculations; ensure works follow approved designs.
• Conduct regular site inspections, monitor material and equipment usage, and report progress or delays to management.
• Manage quality documentation, material testing (e.g., concrete, reinforcement) and address non‑conforming works.

Required profile

• Higher National Diploma (HND) in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in civil/structural engineering, construction or site supervision.
• Professional registration or membership with COREN or NSE is an advantage.
• Willingness to travel to project locations across Nigeria.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Experience with MS Project for scheduling.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and Word.
