Project Cost Engineering Facilitator (One-Month Contract)

About the role

The Project Cost Engineering Facilitator will join Dexterous Applied Training Institute on a one‑month contract to deliver specialised training in project cost engineering, PRINCE2 methodology and project planning to professional and corporate audiences in Port Harcourt.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver classroom and workshop sessions on cost engineering, budgeting and cost control.
• Develop course materials, case studies and practical exercises aligned with oil‑and‑gas and other industrial standards.
• Assess participant needs, evaluate learner performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with other trainers and institute leadership to refine curricula and ensure quality assurance.
• Support consultancy projects by applying cost engineering expertise where required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical) or Project Management.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex technical concepts clearly.
• Proven experience in project management and planning.
• Solid background in cost estimation, budgeting and cost control for engineering projects.
• Relevant knowledge of electrical engineering in industrial or infrastructure contexts.
