Project & Communications Officer

About the role

The Project & Communications Officer will support Gracebridge’s mission to assist orphans and vulnerable children across Northern Nigeria. Working remotely, you will research funding opportunities, build partnerships, and verify beneficiaries to ensure effective programme delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Research suitable local and international grant opportunities and assist with high‑quality applications.
• Identify and develop partnerships with NGOs, schools, hospitals, churches, and community organisations.
• Build and maintain strong community networks across Northern Nigeria.
• Identify potential orphans and vulnerable children who may qualify for support.
• Conduct and document beneficiary verification in line with Gracebridge procedures.
• Liaise with community leaders to obtain credible referrals.
• Capture clear photographs and videos during outreach and verification activities.
• Prepare reports and maintain accurate records of grants, partnerships, referrals, and outreach activities.
• Meet weekly and monthly KPIs and complete assigned tasks on time.

Required profile

• Based in Northern Nigeria with good knowledge of local communities.
• Strong research, communication and report‑writing abilities.
• Experience in grant research and supporting funding applications.
• Comfortable conducting community outreach and field visits.
• Possess a personal laptop, smartphone and a stable internet connection.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and achieve KPIs.
• Willingness to support and represent Gracebridge’s Christian mission and values.

Required skills

What we offer

• Monthly salary between NGN 150,000 and NGN 250,000.
• Full‑time remote work with occasional field visits.
