Programme Associate (G-6) – Temporary Assignment (364 days)

About the role

UNICEF is seeking a Programme Associate (G‑6) on a 364‑day temporary assignment to support the Health, Nutrition and WASH (HSS) cluster in Abuja, Nigeria. Working under the supervision of the Health Manager, you will help ensure smooth programme delivery by coordinating with internal units and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the development, implementation and monitoring of health‑related programmes.
• Liaise regularly with Programme, Operations, Finance and Supply units to align activities and reporting.
• Coordinate with government ministries, NGOs and donor agencies to facilitate programme activities.
• Provide administrative support including documentation, data entry and filing of programme records.
• Support preparation of reports, briefs and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• University degree in health, public administration, international development or a related field.
• At least one month of relevant experience in programme support or administration.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment and handle multiple tasks.
