Product Manager

About the role

Wakanow is seeking a Product Manager to own the full lifecycle of its travel and digital products. Based in Nigeria, you will work on‑site with cross‑functional teams to design, launch and continuously improve solutions that make travel planning seamless for customers.

Key responsibilities

• Gather, prioritize and translate customer and market requirements into clear product specifications and user stories.
• Define and maintain product roadmaps aligned with business objectives.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, operations and support to deliver new features.
• Manage product backlogs, run experiments and A/B tests, and monitor performance metrics.
• Communicate progress and outcomes to stakeholders and ensure the product remains competitive and intuitive.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Product Manager or in a similar product‑focused role.
• Strong background in market research, data analysis and turning insights into product features.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with engineering, design, marketing and operations.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and presentation skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in travel, e‑commerce or technology products is a plus.
• Comfortable working on‑site in a fast‑paced environment in Nigeria and using agile methodologies.
