Procurement Officer

About the role

Filmhouse Cinemas Limited is seeking a Procurement Officer to manage supplier relationships and ensure timely acquisition of goods and services for its cinema operations in Lagos.

Key responsibilities

• Source and evaluate suppliers based on quality, price, availability, and service.
• Obtain and compare quotations and negotiate favourable commercial terms.
• Prepare purchase orders and ensure timely processing and delivery of approved purchases.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier information, and documentation.
• Monitor purchase orders and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
• Support supplier onboarding, evaluation, and performance monitoring.
• Collaborate with Inventory, Retail/F&B, Finance and other departments to fulfil procurement requirements.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities and recommend suitable alternatives.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, approval processes and specifications.
• Resolve supplier‑related issues and escalate significant concerns to the Procurement Manager.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or HND in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field.
• 2–4 years relevant procurement experience, preferably in retail, hospitality, FMCG, entertainment or a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Strong negotiation and supplier management abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Strong analytical, numerical and attention‑to‑detail skills.
