Procurement Officer

About the role

The Procurement Officer will support J‑Six Group’s restaurant operations by sourcing quality products, negotiating with suppliers and ensuring cost‑effective procurement while maintaining high service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with new and existing suppliers.
• Source, purchase and negotiate to obtain quality products at competitive prices.
• Secure products and services at the best possible price without compromising quality.
• Liaise with vendors, compare proposals and manage contract negotiations.
• Monitor contract performance, quality of service and product delivery.
• Ensure all ordered items are received, accounted for and processed in internal systems.
• Assist kitchen staff to optimise raw‑material costs through research and collaboration.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to source the best products and follow best practices.

Required profile

• Minimum OND in Business Administration, Purchasing & Supply, Accounting, Hospitality Management or related field.
• At least 2 years of procurement experience in food & beverage or related sector.
• Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of any ERP software is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal, leadership and negotiation abilities.
• Effective communication to ensure transparency.
• In‑depth knowledge of contracts, invoicing and negotiation terms.
• Excellent numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
• Organisational and time‑management skills.
• Problem‑solver with an analytical mindset.

• Salary: NGN 100,000 – 130,000 per month
